Just in time for easter has a Python Egg-package been created for Nuxeos CalCore python calendaring package.

What is Eggs?

Eggs are a new way to distribute Python modules. They are distributed in a compressed file that contains not only the module files, but information about versions, requirements and download information. This means that you can download the package you want, and during installation it will verify that all requirements are downloaded and installed, and if they are not, it will download and install the requirements as well.

This makes for an easy and enjoyable installation experience.

Installing the CalCore egg

CalCore will be installed, and all dependencies will be dowloaded and installed. You can test by python -c"import calcore" which should run without errors.
